Don't really care if he's a rit, I'll still get him anyway. As for whether he gets used or not...well, it's not like I use all my heroes right now anyway.
As for armour, new player armour would have been nice, but I pretty much expected it to be hero armour as soon as it was announced. It's been posted all over that heroes had 3 armour skins, so with the default and the challenge mission armours making 2, you knew that one more set was going to be introduced somewhere. Which is good, I like more hero armour. They deserve the best for coming with me to hell and back.
Um, as long as it's not like the ruins of sahlajah challenge mission. That thing has annoyed me to no end, though it has boosted my lightbringer total since after about an hour of doing it I have to go an kill stuff to cool down.

He was referring to players that only had Nightfall, and thus could not unlock ritualist skills. Thus having a ritualist hero in Nightfall would be useless unless that player had bought Factions as well, I guess.

Hero skill trainers offer skills, and there are rit monsters around you can cap sig. You wouldn't have the vast amount of variety a factions owner would have, but surely you can find 8 skills that work from whats available.
Um, are you sure he's available to people without factions? Zenmai was in the manual too, and you couldn't actually get her without factions you know...
Or could you unlock with pvp? Not sure, got her and olias as soon as nightfall was released.

My primary is a ritualist. Im only talking about NF owners with NO skills for their ritualist hero. Then to them, wont they be useless?
Anet illogical, no, but limiting their customer satisfaction, yes. I do love NF, but a tad unfair for those players >.<

Well, you have to admit, jumping to conclusions and then complaining when your initial guess was wrong is a bit silly

Not unfair at all, nothing is stopping them from buying Factions.
If you want access to a chapter's skills and professions, you have to cowboy up and buy it. Anet has made no bones about this business model.

Very true, still unfortunate for NF peops buying the game, reading the manual (Razah is infamously placed in it) and realizing that they must buy a previous game.
But it does give some incentives to buy factions.

There's some new NPCs in Abbadon's Gate. Maybe he's the keeper to the Domain of Anguish or the elite mission?

I'll bet Kormir just gives you a quest that lets you unlock the place, but the entrance isn't actually IN the Chantry.

Remember that there are just as many new rit skills in NF as there are any of the core classes. There are just no core skills for the rits, but that's still an impressive number of skills (and 10 elites)...

I was hoping the armour upgrades was going to be the ability to let Prophecies/Factions armour use insignias.. I take it this is not the case now?
What a joke.

I post this on gwonline but I guess I post it here too.
You know? This whole "new hero armor" thing could be.....just another armor for Razah, and that's it.
And new gems....they might be what you need to get Razah (as in.....quest items) or his alternate armor....
